Therapy sessions where YOU are the expert

Yes, YOU are the expert in your life and your healing journey. As the Art Therapist I ask questions, offer options for art directives and make sure you are safe in the process. But you get to decide what your goals are, where you want to take the art each time, what it means to you and how many times and how often we meet.

Session content tailored to your unique needs

At the beginning we will talk about what your goals are for the art therapy sessions and those goals will guide us. But there may be some sessions where something different and more important has come up, we will work with that. You might even decide you want to revise those earlier goals based on the insights you gain along the way.

And don’t worry if your goals are not yet super clear. Clarifying as we go is normal part of the process.

Support tailored to your unique needs

Some clients request more direction, others take more of the lead in our sessions. Some sessions are quiet, with not much talking. In others the client has more they wish to say. I will make every effort to support the process that works best for you in our sessions.

If numbers 1 and 2 (you being the expert and you setting the goals) sound a little scary, don’t worry. I can ask questions and offer art directives to help clarify.

Rates

Individuals—$115 for 50 min., $165 for 80 min. session, $220 for 110 min.

Couples—$180 for 80 min., $240 for 110 min. session
